Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson born to British lawyers Jacqueline Luesby & Chris Watson in Paris, France. As a young girl of just five years old when she left for Oxfordshire and enrolled in her first Dragon School. At the age of six, Emma was aware that she wanted to be an actress and for many years she was a student at the Oxford Branch of Stagecoach Theatre Arts a part-time theatre school in which she was taught singing dancing and acting. The actress had performed in several Stagecoach and school productions before she was ten years old. Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone (2000) was the film adaptation to J.K. Rowlings bestselling novel was first cast for very first time back in the year 1999. Emma was discovered by agents through the recommendation of her Oxford teacher. David Heyman, the producer of Harry Potter Harry Potter's Sorcerer's Stone and Ron Weasley told Emma after the eight auditions that she'd been selected for the parts. She was cast alongside Daniel Radcliffe Rupert Grint and Rupert Grint. Emma's first appearance in a film was with Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone in 2001. It was also one of the top-rated films of 2001. The opening weekday and weekend the sales were record breaking. The film received praise from critics, as were the performance of three new starlets. The Daily Telegraph in Britain that is distributed widely and widely read, praised her performance as admirable. Emma's performance was recognized and later won awards for the movie.
